Depression- the invisible enemy

 Depression- the invisible enemy

We have so many responsibilities in life, where we forget our own physical and mental health which is part and parcel of our responsibilities. Sometimes things may go out of control, its’ quite common and there is no need to freak out. Stabilize yourself first and then the problem. Remember that mental health is like a bridge to a blissful life.

When you’re not connected to your inner self you may feel low at times when things go out of your control. The words like depression come into play for many when they’re low. Depression is nothing but feeling void as if there is no purpose in life. But the main purpose of life is all about living it to the fullest with lots of happiness, it’s not about the success or luxuries or accessories you run behind.

A depressed mind can have multiple feelings like anxiety, fear, sadness, aggression, arrogance, emptiness, guilt, misery, restlessness, hopelessness, helplessness, lonely and whatnot. In such a state, hope is one main thing that disappears with depression. Always remember that there is nothing like a big problem/suffering or small problem/ Suffering. Never ever hesitate to talk to someone or tell someone whenever you’re feeling low or depressed. The only reason behind that is hope, a hope that you may find someone who understands what you are going through.

Many people across the globe usually don’t care about the conditions of others, until and unless it doesn’t affect them in any way. Always remember that we are all here to love each other, help each other and lift each other up. No matter what, let’s be together and break down the stigma of depression. Forget about Log kya kahenge? What will people say?

Life is always unexpected or not as planned. Try to explore new things in life, don’t be afraid of failures. This is all about thoughts that play an invisible role in depression. Though not taken into consideration it leaves a huge impact on the people suffering from depression. The most important thing to know about it is, as the saying goes time can heal anything and everything. The -ve and depressing thoughts are all a matter of time.

It is really necessary to create awareness among people to try to control and conquer these thoughts. Don’t underestimate this, as it may seem funny and illogical to think about suicide to a person who just attempted and saved. There may be a moment of some unhealthy thoughts that might lead to such drastic measures. Remember it is all about time, trust me time can heal everything. It might not be as easy as said, but eventually, there’ll be a time when you might come to agree on it. So even on the worst days, remember time isn’t constant, so is your life. Always keep moving forward even in impossible scenarios.

Recently a 24-year-old has committed suicide in Kurnool after his favorite star film received mixed talk. Mixed talk has become a very common thing these days, don’t let other people’s opinions affect you. Before taking such harshdecisions, please think about yourself, your family, and your dear ones. Your parents will be the most affected ones. Whatever may be the situation sit and talk, please don’t take harsh decisions.

Don’t take life for granted. Be thankful and grateful for every possible little thing in life. Do you know by the time you complete reading this there may be some ‘N’ deaths? The World Health Org (WHO) estimates that each year approximately one million people die from suicide, which represents a global mortality rate of 16 people per 100,000 or one death every 40 seconds.
